Has anyone heard of SureHold Super Glue?I need advice on super glue for a project i am doing for my grandson. Can someone recommend a super glue?
I use an epoxy glue. It will hold fast in 7 min. There's also Gorilla glue. How'bout a hot glue gun? Good luck!I need advice on super glue for a project i am doing for my grandson. Can someone recommend a super glue?
It depends on what you're gluing. Superglue bonds in the absence of air, so the parts need to fit very closely. Some types will work with porous materials, some won't--read the label. If a gap needs to be filled, epoxy is best. PC-7 is a putty type epoxy (I'm sure there are other brands), and there are thinner epoxies that come in tubes. I never heard of SureHold but it's probably like the rest, cyanoacrylate that bonds when air is excluded. Read the label to see if it will bond what you're trying to glue. If you're gluing metal to glass, get rear view mirror adhesive from an auto parts store.
