I am a 16 year old girl.i have never worn make up but want to start because am not the beautiful.I need advice

You want to start to wear make up to make you beautiful? Honey, you don't need make up to be beautiful. Make up, uhm well it sure helps a little, but it won't make you like yourself.

The first step is to look at the mirror and repeat to your self that you're beautiful with or without make up!

Then sure, there is plenty of advices to go around. But that you can either find on magazines or on those silly websites that teach you how to use make up. You could always ask your friends or even your mum.I am a 16 year old girl.i have never worn make up but want to start because am not the beautiful.I need advice
Based on what you have said..it sounds like you need more of a confidence boost than makeup!! Every woman is beautiful in their own way ( sounds cheesy..but so true!) People say beauty is in the eye of the beholder...guess what it's true!!

However if your feeling like you want to vamp up your look make-up could help you. Also...it can also change the way you feel about how youl look. Talk to your mom about maybe going to Nordstrom and taking with one of the make-up girls to talk about what would be best for your skin and what needs help. ( on your face) If you have never worn make-up you don't want to get to crazy if you don't know whats too much and too over the top. Truth is, you might just need a little blush and lipgloss! A ittle goes a long way!

Also, maybe try a new hairstyle. Go crazy and buy some new clothes which always should give a girl confidence! You should feel comfortable in your skin.

Remember...make-up doesn't make you beautiful. It's how you carry yourself out in the world!!I am a 16 year old girl.i have never worn make up but want to start because am not the beautiful.I need advice
i wear mascara, and mineral foundation. neautral eye shadowas are good too. the good thing about mineral foundation is it makes your skin even without making it look like you have makeup on. with the mascara most kinds are good. it depends what you prefer.
Natural is beautiful, a little makeup is okay. You dont want to look like a cakeface, i suggest a little on the eyes... like mascara and eyeliner. You dont need anything else.
advice about what? what brand of makeup to use? what colors? how much? what do you want to know? by the way, who is it that says you're not beautiful, the magazines?
You dont really need to wear makeup, its not like ill magically become gorgeous, its just to hide flaws like break outs and stuff so i dont think you need to wear any, simple stuff like mascara or eyeliner but not all that blush and eyeshadow
If you actually wakeboard then I would start off wearing waterproof eyeliner, Because no one looks good when their makeup runs or they look like a raccoon.
you need more self confidance

wear mascara

or fondation

eyeliner?

dunt go overboard

everyone is beautiful in their own way
well some more detail will help what kind of skin do you have? whats the color of your hair and skin tone?

and dont say your not beautiful every one is :)
Don't Say things like that be content with what God gave you, We are all made in his Image, but if you want to wear make-up thats fine just don't talk yourself down.
every person is beautiful in there own way
We need more than that to go off of.
you dont need to wear make up every one is pretty the way they are unless u are fat
if you have big boobs then your fine, and you dont need makeup
First- I know that all women have body image issues, especialy at 16. But please know that makeup cannot make a difference as big as learning to love yourself and be comfortable in your own skin. Those people who are truly beautiful are the ones who are confident and happy with themselves. It comes from inside, not the crap you put on your face. That being said, makeup is excellent for accentuating your natural inner beauty.

At 16 I wouldn't use a foundation, it will just clog your pores. Instead just make sure to take good care of your skin. Use a gentle cleanser and a good moisturizer with sun screen in it. Also remember to ex foliate at least once a week. If you have oily skin use and astringent after you wash but before you moisturize.

Pick out a pressed or loose powder that matches your skin color closely. (when you are comparing makeup colors to your skin color don't use your hand- it is a different shade than your face. Hold the makeup next to your face and look in a mirror) Use a brush to lightly and evenly apply it to your whole face and neck. Next is blush, chose a color that is slightly warmer than your natural skin tone. Smile, and use a large brush to sweep it from the part of your cheek that got round when you smiled out to your hairline. Chose a natural eyeshadow such as a peach or brown and use a small brush to apply it to your eyelid under the crease only. If you have light hair chose a brown mascara, if dark chose black. I think the easiest way to learn to apply mascara is to open your eyes wide, place the comb directly under your lashes and blink.

Start with a very light and natural look and once you have practiced that a lot and are comfortable with it you can branch out to more daring looks if you'd like.

A good way to find the right colors for your skin is to go to one of those department store makeover counters. The people behind the counter will help you chose and then give you a sample card with the colors you liked on it. I then buy one cheap item from them (to keep from feeling guilty about taking up their time) and then go to the drug store with the sample card and by the same colors there for much less.

good luck and be well. :)

Looking for advice. Guided tour of Patagonia or do it yourself? Will be going for approx 2 weeks.?

Hi...

Real advice... take a guided tour... however... I would believe that going by yourself... would be the most amazing trip you'd done! ;)

But, be careful!

Have a great day

I need advice, I might be pregnant...

I've posted at least 10 questions already. But here goes. I missed the whole first week of my pills and had unprotected sex all month. In the past week I've been feeling so sick. And I've had text book pregnancy symptoms. My period was due to start and all there has been is light bleeding, that's not normal for me. And I have had terrible cramps. I've read places that many woman get a period while they are pregnant, especially in early pregnancy.. I wouldn't consider this a period, should i still take a test or just not worry about it?

Thanks so muchI need advice, I might be pregnant...
I would take a test anyway just to be sure :)I need advice, I might be pregnant...
Take ';first response pregnancy test';

Sometimes, when you think you're pregnant you subconsciously provoke those symptoms to yourself. You might not even be, but since you think you are...you feel all these weird symptoms.

When I was pregnant, I was sleepy all the time, my breast hurt, i felt cramps but never got my period. You're gonna have to do a pregnancy test to find out if you are. There's no home way of finding out.
Just to make sure, you should take a test. Because you do not want to start any more birth control pills until you know for sure. Taking Birth control while you are pregnant is very harmful to the baby and could cause a miscarriage.
take a test and put your mind at ease either way. And stop having unprotected sex unless you're ready to give a child up for adoption or be a great parent.
Take a cheap dollar store pregnancy test, it's only $1 and you'll know for sure that way. That's the only advice I can give you..sorry.
Missing the pills has probably messed up your cycle. Take a test to be sure, and be more sensible next time.
well....take a test and also if you are under 18....good luck with your parents having a fit. LOL....that happens alot

I'm thin-but want to be thinner...Help.Advice Needed?

I am a typical teenage girl- but lately I've had the urge to be thinner.

I am already 5'8'; and about 120 lbs. To me- I sound fat... maybe not to others but to me.. I sound fat. Umm. I think this all started about 2 weeks ago when I got my Victoria's Secret Swimwear 2007 Catalouge. I looked at the models in there... and then I looked at myself.. I was like ';i want ribs like that.'; ';I want boobs like that.'; and... i don't know. I was talking to my friend at school and she said that she was feeling fat lately too... Shes shorter than me and she weighs about 105...

I know everyone will probably think we're crazy.. but I feel so fat when I look at myself in the mirror and then look at the models in magazines...

I have never felt the urge to be so thin before, and I'm scared for myself. Lately I've been thinking of going on a healthy food plan AKA the Skinny Diet.

Lots of people tell me i'm thin... but I just don't believe it anymore. :(

What should I do? What can i do? you ever felt that?I'm thin-but want to be thinner...Help.Advice Needed?
I've felt like I should weigh lessm but I am petite. I followed a very strict diet and I always beat myself up. I wanted to look perfect, and people already told me I looked fine to them. I finally realized that you should be glad you have the body you have, and I think that both you and I should be glad we are on the smaller side. Your friend may gain weight as she gets older, and you may lose weight too. Now I eat normal and I'm glad I'm not worrying about how many calories something is.

Follow a healthy diet! It's about being healthy, not skinny (which you are anyways.) Eat protein and lots of fruit and vegetables. You can eat junk food sometimes, because a little fat can't harm you. Don't crash diet!

And did you know? Most models probably hate everything they have to do to prepare for a photo shoot. Counting calories, excercising- I'm sure that they would have an average body instead of a super skinny model body if they didn't obsess over their diets. Their whole career revolves around their body image, which is why they have to look good.

But you aren't a model, which is perfectly okay, and you should be glad you are already skinny. Also, tell your friend you thinks she looks great the way she is.

I hope this helps, don't beat yourself up!

:)

I am putting a ceiling fan in place of a light, I need advice on support.?

In the attic were the box is, it is secured (the box) by a skinny metal rod that runs between the studs. This house was built in 1950. Is it possible that the skinny meatl rod is strong enough to hold the fans weight, or was it meant for just the weight of a light?I am putting a ceiling fan in place of a light, I need advice on support.?
See the staff at home depot lighting department, there is a support bar that can be installed in between the joists it is expandable and if you remove the electrical box it can be slipped into the hole, assembled and installed without damaging the drywall. Just tell the staff what your doing and they 'll show you how it's installed. Good Luck!

P.S. Dont forget to turn the power off!I am putting a ceiling fan in place of a light, I need advice on support.?
They do make brackets that will support the weight and screw into the studs. Check with a home supply company or check with a lighting/fan supply company.
DO NOT hang the fan from the metal rod, put in a 2x4 brace between the joist do not forget to recess it a bit so the box does not hang below the ceiling and your fan will fit flush

  • I am going to get my second degree as a Registered Nurse. Any advice?

I will be switching careers and going back to school to get my second degree as a nurse. They have accelerated BSN programs and MSN programs...not sure which I will do yet. Has anyone been in my situation and have any advice? Is it difficult to pay?I am going to get my second degree as a Registered Nurse. Any advice?
Good for you! Nursing is a great career with many opportunities. I suggest that you get your BSN first and then if you want to be in management you will need an MSN. You will have more success if you spend a couple of years in clinical nursing before moving to management or teaching (with an MSN). As far as paying, there are many grants and scholarships available. The financial aid counselors at the colllege are a great help and will do everything possible to help you finance your education. Also, many hospitals offer scholarships in exchange for your agreement to work for them (usually 6 months for every semester paid).

For moms or moms to be..need advice.?

have u ever ovulated a week before your period is due?For moms or moms to be..need advice.?
I got pregnant the DAY my period was due. The days you ovulate are NOT the only days you can get pregnant. So, it is likely you got pregnant one week before you're period if that's when you had sex! Good LuckFor moms or moms to be..need advice.?
