I am looking to buy a new guitar and need advice?

I have a dan aslin bohemian, but would like to buy something new. my price range is $300-650 (but of course a cheaper guitar that is still quality wouldnt hurt). What is a good classic rock/blues/jazz, overall versital guitar? I love les pauls, where can i find a cheap custom tuxedo?I am looking to buy a new guitar and need advice?

Well, there is only one advice possible for buy a new guitar. First try to see what kind of instrument play people you like. Care about if they play hollow or solid bodies and which kind of pick-ups they use (humbucker or single). Then go to the bigger guitar store close by and try all the guitars you can. They will let you.


If you look for a solid body Fender Mexicans are in your price range and also used Fender Americans (but try it several times before buying). If you are going for a hollow body Epiphones are very very good and also in your range.


Do not forget that the amp is also a fundamental part of the sound you want to get. So try your guitar in valve and solid state amps.
