You want to start to wear make up to make you beautiful? Honey, you don't need make up to be beautiful. Make up, uhm well it sure helps a little, but it won't make you like yourself.
The first step is to look at the mirror and repeat to your self that you're beautiful with or without make up!
Then sure, there is plenty of advices to go around. But that you can either find on magazines or on those silly websites that teach you how to use make up. You could always ask your friends or even your mum.I am a 16 year old girl.i have never worn make up but want to start because am not the beautiful.I need advice
Based on what you have said..it sounds like you need more of a confidence boost than makeup!! Every woman is beautiful in their own way ( sounds cheesy..but so true!) People say beauty is in the eye of the beholder...guess what it's true!!
However if your feeling like you want to vamp up your look make-up could help you. Also...it can also change the way you feel about how youl look. Talk to your mom about maybe going to Nordstrom and taking with one of the make-up girls to talk about what would be best for your skin and what needs help. ( on your face) If you have never worn make-up you don't want to get to crazy if you don't know whats too much and too over the top. Truth is, you might just need a little blush and lipgloss! A ittle goes a long way!
Also, maybe try a new hairstyle. Go crazy and buy some new clothes which always should give a girl confidence! You should feel comfortable in your skin.
Remember...make-up doesn't make you beautiful. It's how you carry yourself out in the world!!I am a 16 year old girl.i have never worn make up but want to start because am not the beautiful.I need advice
i wear mascara, and mineral foundation. neautral eye shadowas are good too. the good thing about mineral foundation is it makes your skin even without making it look like you have makeup on. with the mascara most kinds are good. it depends what you prefer.
Natural is beautiful, a little makeup is okay. You dont want to look like a cakeface, i suggest a little on the eyes... like mascara and eyeliner. You dont need anything else.
advice about what? what brand of makeup to use? what colors? how much? what do you want to know? by the way, who is it that says you're not beautiful, the magazines?
You dont really need to wear makeup, its not like ill magically become gorgeous, its just to hide flaws like break outs and stuff so i dont think you need to wear any, simple stuff like mascara or eyeliner but not all that blush and eyeshadow
If you actually wakeboard then I would start off wearing waterproof eyeliner, Because no one looks good when their makeup runs or they look like a raccoon.
you need more self confidance
wear mascara
or fondation
eyeliner?
dunt go overboard
everyone is beautiful in their own way
well some more detail will help what kind of skin do you have? whats the color of your hair and skin tone?
and dont say your not beautiful every one is :)
Don't Say things like that be content with what God gave you, We are all made in his Image, but if you want to wear make-up thats fine just don't talk yourself down.
every person is beautiful in there own way
We need more than that to go off of.
you dont need to wear make up every one is pretty the way they are unless u are fat
if you have big boobs then your fine, and you dont need makeup
First- I know that all women have body image issues, especialy at 16. But please know that makeup cannot make a difference as big as learning to love yourself and be comfortable in your own skin. Those people who are truly beautiful are the ones who are confident and happy with themselves. It comes from inside, not the crap you put on your face. That being said, makeup is excellent for accentuating your natural inner beauty.
At 16 I wouldn't use a foundation, it will just clog your pores. Instead just make sure to take good care of your skin. Use a gentle cleanser and a good moisturizer with sun screen in it. Also remember to ex foliate at least once a week. If you have oily skin use and astringent after you wash but before you moisturize.
Pick out a pressed or loose powder that matches your skin color closely. (when you are comparing makeup colors to your skin color don't use your hand- it is a different shade than your face. Hold the makeup next to your face and look in a mirror) Use a brush to lightly and evenly apply it to your whole face and neck. Next is blush, chose a color that is slightly warmer than your natural skin tone. Smile, and use a large brush to sweep it from the part of your cheek that got round when you smiled out to your hairline. Chose a natural eyeshadow such as a peach or brown and use a small brush to apply it to your eyelid under the crease only. If you have light hair chose a brown mascara, if dark chose black. I think the easiest way to learn to apply mascara is to open your eyes wide, place the comb directly under your lashes and blink.
Start with a very light and natural look and once you have practiced that a lot and are comfortable with it you can branch out to more daring looks if you'd like.
A good way to find the right colors for your skin is to go to one of those department store makeover counters. The people behind the counter will help you chose and then give you a sample card with the colors you liked on it. I then buy one cheap item from them (to keep from feeling guilty about taking up their time) and then go to the drug store with the sample card and by the same colors there for much less.
good luck and be well. :)

I need advice, I might be pregnant...
I've posted at least 10 questions already. But here goes. I missed the whole first week of my pills and had unprotected sex all month. In the past week I've been feeling so sick. And I've had text book pregnancy symptoms. My period was due to start and all there has been is light bleeding, that's not normal for me. And I have had terrible cramps. I've read places that many woman get a period while they are pregnant, especially in early pregnancy.. I wouldn't consider this a period, should i still take a test or just not worry about it?
Thanks so muchI need advice, I might be pregnant...
I would take a test anyway just to be sure :)I need advice, I might be pregnant...
Take ';first response pregnancy test';
Sometimes, when you think you're pregnant you subconsciously provoke those symptoms to yourself. You might not even be, but since you think you are...you feel all these weird symptoms.
When I was pregnant, I was sleepy all the time, my breast hurt, i felt cramps but never got my period. You're gonna have to do a pregnancy test to find out if you are. There's no home way of finding out.
Just to make sure, you should take a test. Because you do not want to start any more birth control pills until you know for sure. Taking Birth control while you are pregnant is very harmful to the baby and could cause a miscarriage.
take a test and put your mind at ease either way. And stop having unprotected sex unless you're ready to give a child up for adoption or be a great parent.
Take a cheap dollar store pregnancy test, it's only $1 and you'll know for sure that way. That's the only advice I can give you..sorry.
Missing the pills has probably messed up your cycle. Take a test to be sure, and be more sensible next time.
well....take a test and also if you are under 18....good luck with your parents having a fit. LOL....that happens alot

I'm thin-but want to be thinner...Help.Advice Needed?
I am a typical teenage girl- but lately I've had the urge to be thinner.
I am already 5'8'; and about 120 lbs. To me- I sound fat... maybe not to others but to me.. I sound fat. Umm. I think this all started about 2 weeks ago when I got my Victoria's Secret Swimwear 2007 Catalouge. I looked at the models in there... and then I looked at myself.. I was like ';i want ribs like that.'; ';I want boobs like that.'; and... i don't know. I was talking to my friend at school and she said that she was feeling fat lately too... Shes shorter than me and she weighs about 105...
I know everyone will probably think we're crazy.. but I feel so fat when I look at myself in the mirror and then look at the models in magazines...
I have never felt the urge to be so thin before, and I'm scared for myself. Lately I've been thinking of going on a healthy food plan AKA the Skinny Diet.
Lots of people tell me i'm thin... but I just don't believe it anymore. :(
What should I do? What can i do? you ever felt that?I'm thin-but want to be thinner...Help.Advice Needed?
I've felt like I should weigh lessm but I am petite. I followed a very strict diet and I always beat myself up. I wanted to look perfect, and people already told me I looked fine to them. I finally realized that you should be glad you have the body you have, and I think that both you and I should be glad we are on the smaller side. Your friend may gain weight as she gets older, and you may lose weight too. Now I eat normal and I'm glad I'm not worrying about how many calories something is.
Follow a healthy diet! It's about being healthy, not skinny (which you are anyways.) Eat protein and lots of fruit and vegetables. You can eat junk food sometimes, because a little fat can't harm you. Don't crash diet!
And did you know? Most models probably hate everything they have to do to prepare for a photo shoot. Counting calories, excercising- I'm sure that they would have an average body instead of a super skinny model body if they didn't obsess over their diets. Their whole career revolves around their body image, which is why they have to look good.
But you aren't a model, which is perfectly okay, and you should be glad you are already skinny. Also, tell your friend you thinks she looks great the way she is.
I hope this helps, don't beat yourself up!

I am putting a ceiling fan in place of a light, I need advice on support.?
In the attic were the box is, it is secured (the box) by a skinny metal rod that runs between the studs. This house was built in 1950. Is it possible that the skinny meatl rod is strong enough to hold the fans weight, or was it meant for just the weight of a light?I am putting a ceiling fan in place of a light, I need advice on support.?
See the staff at home depot lighting department, there is a support bar that can be installed in between the joists it is expandable and if you remove the electrical box it can be slipped into the hole, assembled and installed without damaging the drywall. Just tell the staff what your doing and they 'll show you how it's installed. Good Luck!
P.S. Dont forget to turn the power off!I am putting a ceiling fan in place of a light, I need advice on support.?
They do make brackets that will support the weight and screw into the studs. Check with a home supply company or check with a lighting/fan supply company.
DO NOT hang the fan from the metal rod, put in a 2x4 brace between the joist do not forget to recess it a bit so the box does not hang below the ceiling and your fan will fit flushestee lauder alpha ahava

I am going to get my second degree as a Registered Nurse. Any advice?
I will be switching careers and going back to school to get my second degree as a nurse. They have accelerated BSN programs and MSN programs...not sure which I will do yet. Has anyone been in my situation and have any advice? Is it difficult to pay?I am going to get my second degree as a Registered Nurse. Any advice?
Good for you! Nursing is a great career with many opportunities. I suggest that you get your BSN first and then if you want to be in management you will need an MSN. You will have more success if you spend a couple of years in clinical nursing before moving to management or teaching (with an MSN). As far as paying, there are many grants and scholarships available. The financial aid counselors at the colllege are a great help and will do everything possible to help you finance your education. Also, many hospitals offer scholarships in exchange for your agreement to work for them (usually 6 months for every semester paid).

She went to a party two weeks ago and she doesn't exactly remember what happened but she thinks she might have had sex. She didn't have her period last month or this month. So do you think she's pregnant and if you do, what should she do??My friend thinks she might be pregnant! Advice!?
maybe wait until she miss another period then take a pregnancy testMy friend thinks she might be pregnant! Advice!?
She can probably take a home pregnancy test I think it would show up now. If she takes it to early it might come back as negative even if she is pregnant.
u should tell her to do a home pregnancy test to see what it says. good luck
yup. too bad for her . maybe she souldnt have gotten so drunk tht she doesnt know where she was or what happened. get tested .? rere .
she should have a pregnancy test to be sure
**but some women usually miss their periods
getting tested sounds like a good idea
If she is...make her mom watch Juno, before she tells

Advice Please!! Will I become another baby momma? I don't want to be #3?
I have been dating this man for about 5 months now. We have a wonderful relationship and things are good right now, but as the relationship goes on and the past comes out i am starting to feel like there is a trend in this mans life and I am to the point where I love him but i have to love myself more and I want to know am i setting myself up for failure or is it possible for him to change? I noticed he had a tattoo on his chest with two little boys and a woman, and i asked him about it he told me that it was his two sons and his baby momma,at the time we were new in the relationship, and i knew that if it got serious i would have to deal with it, but at the time i was only looking for someone to ';enjoy'; nothing serious so it didn't really bother me. So we continue to date and after a while i find out that I am pregnant. We, even though it wasn't planned are excited and prepare for a family. Yesterday he tells me has a daughter by another woman! Is it worth it??Advice Please!! Will I become another baby momma? I don't want to be #3?
Probably not. But what choice do you have at this point. Other than stay dependant so you won't have to depend on him. Every child has a right to know their father. Unless it endangers the child's life in any way. See how things pan out, but be prepared for anything to happen, or not.Advice Please!! Will I become another baby momma? I don't want to be #3?
Thank you all for your response and advice. Its hard to fit the whole scenario into 300 words, but i wanted to give you a little more to work with. He did tell me in the beginning that he had 2 children.
They were with the same woman but it didn't work out because she cheated on him, and although he is there for his kids he couldn't trust her so they are no longer together. he didn't tell me about his daughter until this weekend which is 5 months into the relationship
and after we have started to build a family together. Given 5 months is a short time but under the circumstances we have both been through a lot in our lives and are tired of games and are ready to build and settle down.
I have a past of my own just as he does although mine did not produce children, so i never wanted to judge him. But I don't want to play the fool, and he is not the type that doesn't want to commit.
He wants to get married, although its not what i want in my life right now. I am in no rush, and i don't want to get married just because of a child, because the mother and father role doesn't change regardless of if we are married.
I want to marry a man that I love and who i know will be there for the rest of my life and I haven鈥檛 know him long enough to trust him with that task so soon.
But is it right for me to judge him based on past behaviors? Could he not have grown and learned from his mistakes? Or is it not worth trying to find out?
Didn't I see you on Jerry Springer? Or was it Maury?
havent' you ever heard of birth control? there are SO many choices these days...btw, it's not worth it. he's a loser.
Pregnant after together only 5 mo together? Yeah, you'll likely be a baby momma, another tattoo, another support enforcement order.
Well, seeing as how you are pregnant, the whole ';Will I become'; is a little late. Yes, you will be another baby's momma...
Now, does that mean you have no future? Not necesarily. Were you planning on getting married? After 5 months, it's probably a little soon. Was he married to these other women, or is he a non marraige type, or just didn't want to get married because of kids? There are a lot of variables out there.
Right now, you might be more emotional that you would normally be, and thinking about things a bit differently because those mothering instincts are kicking in. You are going to have a baby, and this guy is the fater. These are facts you can't change. I would just see where things go from here. You don't know what the future holds for either of you.
Good luck, and congrats on the baby!
Put your child first, but do what is best for the both of you. I personally would move on.
what do you mean is it worth it? The baby? You dont really have a choice now, first off this MAN has way too much baggage, you should have reconized this in the first place. Hopefully he mans up and takes care of you and ALL of his babys. good luck and congrats.
its a little late now your already pregnant so weather you want to be or not you are going to be ';another baby mama'; how well does he care for his children if you been with him for 5 months and didnt know he had a daughter??? why was he hiding her??
Sheesh girl, he has too much baggage, does he support his children? I would think the situation over really good. If it was me, I would move on.

Advice on how to be a call girl?
okay so I'm 17 now and ever since I was 10 i wanted to be a prostitute. But i don't want to be a streetwalker or anything. I want to be one of the hig class ones. So i need advice on how to get started and what agency I need. If any call girls answer it would really help. Please don't give me the typical you shouldn't do this answers this is what I want to be.
My measurements 35-26-36
Height 5'3
Weight 125lbs
Ethnicity African American
I speak three languages
and i am a virginAdvice on how to be a call girl?
what!! OMG!!
try calling escort services, or you could do porn, I heard there is alot of competition in porn, and it's hard to get into.
Stripping is a good place to start. You'll get used to the atmosphere, and you may meet clients this way. it's like networking. i know a girl who does it, and she's a stripper.
Well, it's a pretty good living, but you'll probably burn out after awhile. I mean there are alot of different, good looking women from all over the world that do that. I'm not judging you.
Sometimes I feel like men treat women like dirt, and you might aswell get paid everytime you have sex. I mean, you've got to get something out of it. Make money girl.
Since you've never had sex, you better try it, and see if you like it.
yeah, you might end up being a streetwalker after all, because that's how the life is. It takes it's toll on you I don't care what anyone says.
You may make mad money in the beginning, but many women will tell you they just ended up spending it, and the life began destroying them. that happens alot. there are many pitfalls.
I say, start with stripping. And SAVE your money. Then after putting it away, get out of the business when you hit 30, and go to school for a real carreer. I know 2 Russian ladies that did this. One bought a house, and the other hung herself. (no joke) it can get to you. just be smart and put your money away.Advice on how to be a call girl?
Well first off, that's one weird ambition to have. It may seem glamorous in the movies etc, but it isn't' really. You still will be a prostitute. All that changes, is your fee for sex.
Like the old joke goes, when a man asks a woman, ';will you have sex with me for a Million dollars'; the women, most often, will say yes.
Then he will offer her say a hundred dollars to do it, Her answer, ';What do you think I am?';
He tells her, ';we already know what you are, we are just haggling over the price now';
I just hope you aren't serious, if you wish to make money on your back, then look for some rich guy, who's looking for a Mistress.
And also remember, that kind of life is a short one. You won't always be cute and young and definitely not a virgin.

Then he will offer her say a hundred dollars to do it, Her answer, ';What do you think I am?';
He tells her, ';we already know what you are, we are just haggling over the price now';
I just hope you aren't serious, if you wish to make money on your back, then look for some rich guy, who's looking for a Mistress.
And also remember, that kind of life is a short one. You won't always be cute and young and definitely not a virgin.

Well, as far as I know, none of my friends do Yahoo Answers, so I don't think so. But I do believe it could be possible. You will never really know.
please.........a lot of the people who answer on here have no clue, they just want the points and to see themselves in print.
they don't care that a person might really want some honest answers.of course I'm new to this, but i have read some really raunchy, crude, and sick answers that were very pathetic.

but if someone was asking about me, atleast they'd get good advice and know what to say! haha.
I honestly don't think that way. I treat people how I would want to be treated. All of my answers are from thoughts and expierences I have had.estee lauder stop pimples

I might get a kitten for Christmas. Can anyone please tell me any advice on how they are diffrent form cats?
I might get one for Christmas. But does a 3 month kitty need a nursing bottle and milk formula?
or does it just eat like a cat.
I've had a cat but not a kitten
plz help me and tell if there are any ways to make a kitty perfect. (not doing outside the litterbox, keeping it healthy) and does a kitty sleep more than a cat?I might get a kitten for Christmas. Can anyone please tell me any advice on how they are diffrent form cats?
A kitten is smaller and more active. They are more sensitive to sound like loud T.Vs and take a while to trust you. It will be eating dry food but it needs to be kitten food and it may have a few accidents now and then. I might get a kitten for Christmas. Can anyone please tell me any advice on how they are diffrent form cats?
Kittens are usually more active. They can also bite a lot. They're just playing but it can still hurt. My one and a half year old cat still bites a little bit. Mostly just nibbles. Just tell them no.

What are some efficient tips/advice/suggestions for a dancer...?
...who is still a beginner? I've been taking dance classes for three years in my school %26amp; am going to try out for the dance teamin a couple of months. I really need to work on my technique, flexibility %26amp; such. Right now, I'm not prepared AT ALL! I don't have my straddle, right split, or double turn. What are some good tips/advice/suggestions for a dancer like me?What are some efficient tips/advice/suggestions for a dancer...?
its great you want to try out for a team, to get your r split sit in it and lean from side to side. (tic-tocs) if u lean forward and arch back it will come easier.make sure you stay relaxed. for a straddle do it on your stomach with your but sticking up, and have someone push down lightly. just enough to feel a little pull, like the little boy in the pic but with your stomach down. ok for the turn . try pulling up without turning. see how long you can hold it.then try turning. make sure you sre all the way up on your toe. and spot! hope it helps %26lt;3 good luckWhat are some efficient tips/advice/suggestions for a dancer...?
for getting your straddle sit against a wall in straddle and get as close as you can. For your splits I would suggest sitting in them for as long as you can. If you have a single turn I would suggest trying a double be sure to hold your center and hold onto your turn as long as possible. Hope this helps. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

It was meant just for the light. You can replace the box and rod with one made for ceiling fans for a very reasonable price. It is called a fan rated box. Get one that has a rod like yours but heavier.I am putting a ceiling fan in place of a light, I need advice on support.?
they make a rod that comes with a fan rated box. sells at home depot for about $13. Just did mine in the living room with this kit. Very easy to use. just put it in the hole in the ceiling and twist the rod untill it is tight between the studs in the ceiling attach the box and your set to hang the fan.
The Rod is not enough. get a 2x4, cut it to fit between the joists and screw it in. Screw the existing box to this and that should be enough.
Different fanufacturers have different mounting instructions. Check these before going ahead as it may require some adjustments.
It cannot support a fan remove it and replace it with the support made for that purpose. It can be purchased at any home supply It just fishes up through the same hole and adjusts across the ceiling joists.
Your ceiling fan should come with a weight support brackett that the actual fan hangs from. If not you should be able to purchase one at a hardware.

Girls advice/ opinions would be wonderful!?
I'm pretty active and play a lot of sports so I was thinking of switching to tampons. I want to talk to my doctor about it but I was am afraid to ask her, what are some ways I could be the topic up? What is your opinion on tampons? Also would it be stupid to ask my doctor?Girls advice/ opinions would be wonderful!?
If you have a comfortable rapport with your doctor, you can just begin a conversation about how uncomfortable you are during your sports activities wearing a pad, afraid of leakage, etc.; then let questions lead from there. Wearing tampons and a panty liner during sports will be much more comfortable for you not only physically, but emotionally as well; you won't have the thoughts in the back of your mind that an accident might happen.
Good luck.Girls advice/ opinions would be wonderful!?
if you have a girl docter i'm sure they hear a lot of questions like that. i play tennis a lot and i would recommend playtex sport for tampons. i don't know why you would need to ask your docter about this though. if you want to, you can, you can just bring up you want to wear tampons to your mom and she could help you too
tampons work well for sports also you might want to try a soft cup. look it up online.
tampons are a lott better.
i have a couple stories of ';how to bring it up'; and all
im me on sammipenn on yahoo im
You don't need to ask your doctor. Tampons are completely safe (when worn for fewer than 8 hours). You do not need to tell your doctor.
I love tampons. They are much more comfortable than pads.
I was thinking the same thing because I'm in the same situation as you. I'm really nervous about trying them though. They would be VERY helpful with lacrosse and everything else. It is NOT STUPID to ask a doctor ANYTHING. Also, if you have a family member or friend that you are close to.. you should ask them and see what they say. Good luck! Hope you figure everything out! :]
Well personally, I never tried tampons I've heard negative stuff about them. But if you're active and play sports well I suggest that you ASK a close relative and or your doctor. It would be helpful to hear it from a professional/experienced person. It is NOT stupid to ask your doctor. Ask just like you did here.
No it wouldn't be stupid to ask your doctor, trust me, they've been asked worse! The best way to bring it up to your doc is exactly how you asked it here......';I'm pretty active and play a lot of sports so I was thinking of switching to tampons';.....';Could you give me your opinion on which ones would be best for me?';
p.s. Tampon Pearls are great ;)
be straight forward. tampons are great always feel better with one, not stupid to ask you are stupid not to ask.
I prefer Tampons, as long as you are very hygienic, and change them regularly. Talk to your doctor, don't be shy....to be honest they really don't care....that's what they are there for. Make sure you always follow the instructions to reduce the risk of TSS...and it should make playing sports heaps more comfortable.
Well, it looks like 99% of the people who answered like tampons. I am one of those.
There is a lot of good advice in the other's answers. Women doctors are usually easy to talk to about this kind of thing because they have periods too. So go for it. They like it when you are concerned about your health. They are there to help you, just like teachers like to teach you, so do doctors.
I used tampons for many years and liked them a lot.
When you first start using them make sure you get it in all the way or it will be uncomfortable, though not painful. Sometimes it takes a few tries to get it right. You will know when you have it in right because you will not even feel it.
Not a stupid question at all, especially if she is a woman doctor she should understand. I prefer tampons over anything else, because of the cleanliness and convenience. I would just start the conversation with being active and work your way up to the tampon talk. For instance you could mention you play this sport and the shorts are very fitting and you are uncomfortable with wearing them during your time of the month and if she has any suggestions. This way, you are bringing up the topic, but she is the one that will more than likely bring up the word tampon. Hope that helps.
Well, you could just start by saying Dr.-------, i have a personal question to ask you. He/She will say okay, go ahead. You can just say I'm a very active person and i would like to switch my lady products to something more convenient like tampons. Then ask if He/She has any recommendations on what brand to get.
My opinion on tampons? They work when your an active child/young adult/adult. BUT sometime they do tend to give you more cramps then usual. You also have to change them every 1-3 hours.
It is not stupid to ask your doctor about the change! Your a very smart girl. Especially if you feel uncomfortable about the switch. I hope my advice helped you out! =]
Honestly, you don't have to ask a doctor. Their isn't any certain age limit or anything. If you want to know the brands they'll probably tell you Playtex sport or tampax pearl.
My mom is a doctor too and when I first got them she was just like be careful not to wear it for over 8 hours or else you might get toxic shock syndrome and to read the directions carefully. She's my mom so she cares for me more than her patients and that was all she had to say so I doubt your doctor would say much more....
And about TSS don't worry only 1-17 teenagers out of every 1000 a year get it. But they'll tell you all this, directions precautions and more on the pamphlet thing. lol The directions will probably be more helpful than the doctor.
But if you doo want to ask your doctor because you don't listen to us on yahoo answers here are some suggestions:
Sports have been a lot harder to with my pd. I've been thinking of other ways, what do you think about tampons.
Two weeks of my summer swimming are gone every year because of my pd. I don't want it to be like that this year so what about using tampons.
I can't ever keep up my yoga consistently every month because of my pd. This gets annoying now. What do you think using tampons?
Hope that helps.
Sure took a while for me to type!! ;)
Hmm....you could just slip it in after you guys finish talking about something else. Like '; I play alot of sports now, and I think I should use tampons. Any advice on how to use them? '; And I think they're really good if you're active :) And no, it wouldn't be stupid, doctors can be a big help :]
PADS AT NIGHT TAMPONS DURING THE DAY. that is how i do it. its not safe for you to leave tampons in overnight. but tampons are safe.
Don't be afraid to talk to your doctor, there nothing really stupid about asking your doctor about it. I'm in wrestling and personally perfer a pad over a tampon, but whatever feels more comfortable to you.
You don't need to ask your doctor, unless maybe you have medical issues involving your period.
Tampons are so much better, but don't use them for more than 8 hours. Also be careful for spotting, so have pads available too.
You could always ask your mother, sister or friend if you don't want to go to the doctor. If you go to the doctor don't be embarrased to ask him or her it is not a big deal to them. Tampons are very easy to use once you get the hang of it. I started using them in 6th grade, which was 16 years ago! You could always buy a box and read the instructions, they are that easy to use. You can use them at night or anytime. The old adage that you can't use them at night does not hold true anymore. Once you try them you will never use a pad again...I haven't used one of those for 16 years either! Good luck...you will be fine.
If your doctor thinks that question is stupid get a new doctor! You should feel comfortable enough with your doctor that you can ask anything about any part of your body and get a respectful answer.
Please read the article ';Tampons and Asbestos, Dioxin, %26amp; Toxic Shock Syndrome'; from the FDA.

She is a medical professional and she won't embarrass you if that's what you're afraid of.
';Umm.(whatever your doctor's name is) I am getting pretty active in sports and would like to switch to tampons because I would feel more comfortable using them. What is your take on that?'; My opinion on tampons is whatever you feel comfortable using, whether it is pads or tampons, use it. Get to know tampons so you are completely informed. Well if you are worried and want the best opinion consult your doctor. Depending what age you are you should to your mom first.Best of luck deciding. BYE!

GOOD LUCK,I MEAN IT!My dream to be a physicist like albert einstein, right now I'm still 19, ANY ADVICE?
Admit yourself in any college that offers that subject. I recommend International Islamic University Malaysia... There got this subject...
I suggest you study lots of practical mathematics. Calculus for engineers, linear algebra, probability, statistics, non euclidean geometry, numerical analysis.
General scientific courses should also help you, biology, chemistry, the more you know the better you are prepared.
That way you develop the apparatus to understand college physics painlessly, and proceed to more advanced courses. If you are still in highschool, you would greatly benefit from a physics lab and see how all the theory is applied.
Hope that helps. Good Luck.

IKEA is rad. Most of their things are either WAY expensive, or WAY cheap, but the good news is that you absolutely can't tell if something came from the cheap or expensive end.
Also, as far as ';cool furniture,'; you might want to consider getting really simple furniture (light wood, chrome, or black finish) and letting walls/posters and your bed coverings do the work of being ';cool.'; That way, even if your tastes change, it's easier to switch blankets or decorations than to get new furniture when you're tired of some extremely-trendy piece.estee lauder stop pimples

Also, as far as ';cool furniture,'; you might want to consider getting really simple furniture (light wood, chrome, or black finish) and letting walls/posters and your bed coverings do the work of being ';cool.'; That way, even if your tastes change, it's easier to switch blankets or decorations than to get new furniture when you're tired of some extremely-trendy piece.
Is, there really any good sound advice on how to quite smoking?
really would like to know.all information greatly welcome here.thanks.Is, there really any good sound advice on how to quite smoking?
After trying many times and using different methods ie. the patch, prescription pills etc., my opinion is that you have to reach a state of mind where you want to quit so badly that you make your mind up to do it and have the strength to tough it out. For me it was horrible for the first three to five days. After that it became much easier. 1. You start to forget that you want a smoke for longer periods of time. 2. It becomes easier to say no to the craving. Is, there really any good sound advice on how to quite smoking?
Check out a Christian 12-step addiction recovery group. Ask a Baptist church where there is a group like this in your area. God can help you live a better life if you want Him to help you. You can have a personal relationship with God by saying the prayer below. God is our Creator, all-knowing, all-powerful, eternal, holy, love. God loves us and sent us His Son, Jesus Christ, so we can go to heaven if we know and follow Him. Forever means without end -- time on and on without death. Forever is what happens after we die. Either we go to heaven and be with God forever, or we go to hell which is very bad and painful forever. The good people who are saved believers in Jesus Christ go to heaven. The bad people go to hell. We need to know and follow God in this world to get to heaven in the next world. We follow God by loving and obeying Him and loving others for Him. Jesus Christ, God's Son, is our bridge to God. Jesus died on the cross to cancel our sins. We need to accept Jesus into our life as our Lord and Savior forever to receive God's blessing and forgiveness plus go to heaven to be with God forever after we die. This is about being a born-again Christian. Faith in God is a gift from God. You can pray for faith in God. Just speak out and ask God for the faith to believe in Him and to follow Him. Some people find faith in God when they realize the beauty in the world is made by God. Evolution can't explain the world's natural beauty, for example, the parks in the world, animals, flowers, peacocks, sunsets, butterflies, rainbows, etc. After you have your faith on, you can pray a sinner's prayer to be a born-again Christian. This prayer is very important and should be said with a sincere heart and faith in God. This is the prayer: ';Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and that Jesus Christ is the sacrifice for our sins. I have done the following sins (state these out) and I pray to discontinue these sins. I pray to receive Jesus Christ into my life as my Lord and Savior forever. In Jesus' name, amen.'; I'm Lutheran and I like the Baptist churches too. You could check out a Christian church and also see about their weekly Bible study group to learn about God's will for your life. You can pray to God about your daily life and have a Christian church pray for you.
you cant quit until you have a reason too. cold turkey is the best way once you have a reason.

Need advice on my soon to be ex-wife?
My soon to be ex-wife asked me to leave the house about 2 weeks ago. I thought things were over but she is now calling my friends to find out about any news that she can. She even went thruogh my cell phone to get phone numbers of people that I work with to find out info. She has a phone bill and she also used that to contact some friends. She tells people that she wants to be with me but she does cray stuff behind my back. She even told the daycare, where my 2 year old daughter attends that not to let me pick her up. She talks nice to me and all but these things she does really makes me wounder about her. What could she be up to and what does she want to accomplish?Need advice on my soon to be ex-wife?
Now is the time to have lunch, talk. What the worst that can happen, show her some of your dignified side, be compassionate and peaceful for your daughter. The first step forward happens weather your prepared for it or not. She may just be getting into your info to see if other women are now in the picture. Please delay that, your influx now, please give reflect on on this relationship cause another is going to be just as much work. I say exhaust every avenue before moving on. Ask for Gods' guidance.Need advice on my soon to be ex-wife?
Man if you have to ask, I don't know the situation, but you might be delusional. But from what I heard, get a lawyer.
File the papers, boo. The daycare can't keep you from picking up your daughter if you've been picking her up before unless there is a legal reason that they are aware of, which there isn't. Handle you business legally and try to lay low until everything is finalized...wouldn't want you to get into any mess behind her trying to start something.
she cannot prevent daycare from letting you pick your own daughter up
she cannot kick you out of your house
divorce of course is imminent
get an attorney
as she'll get one
ditch your cell phone and get as pre paid
well she might be checking up on you to make sure you are not seeing anyone. she is probably going to take you to court and she is trying to find out any bad things about you so she can use it in court. be safe and take care of that baby. good luck!
it sounds to me like she's just angry. she obviously loves you, but there is something there that has her upset. women tend to get a little crazy when they are jealous.
i think she is just testing you to see your reactions... to see maybe is you still care.
Christina is right on the money, Martin. Keep your nose clean and mind what you do. It'll only come back to haunt you until the ink is dry on the paper. Protect your assets, too. Move money into the name of someone you trust.
She sounds like a looneybin. If she is trying to get info on you she may be trying to prove or make it look like you were cheating. That will make things really good for her in the divorce. I don't know the divorce laws in your state bc I don't know what state you are in, but here if a spouse if cheating he/she ends up having to pay more, gets less out of the divorce and you can get a divorce immediately instead of having to be seperated for a year. Good luck.
She is fishing for a reason for dumping you. She wants to nail your *** in court.
It sounds to me like she's setting you up! If she's leading you to believe that she want's you back, don't count on it, sounds like she's biding her time to gather whatever information she can on you to use against you in court. I would watch your back if I were you, she sounds like a shady lady! Good luck and God Bless you, find a good lawyer.
Another nut case, from the sounds of it, you are doing the right thing by getting out of the marriage and do not leave any information laying around that she can get her hands on.
It sounds as though she wanted an argument from you about breaking up in the first place. When she told you to leave, she was probably trying to see if you would leave or tell her you still love her and want to make it work. Since it sounds like you just let it happen, she is probably hurt. You have confirmed her suspicions that you no longer want to be married, but she is still obsessed with you or she would not be tracking your every move. If you love her, go back to her and tell her so. If you want it to be over, get your own lawyer, because it sounds like she is hurt and will be vindictive when it comes to the child. I am a woman and using feminine logic here. Good luck.
She is being slick and trying to find evidence of anything on you to help her when you go to court.
She's a psycho and she thinks by doing these things, especially the day care situation that somehow it will bring you to her, even if its just to ask why she has done what she has done. She misses you and wants you to bow down to her (kiss her @$$) and beg to come home. She like to play games..your move.

I got accepted and I am going to University of Michigan next year. any advice, experiences, other insight?
I am a senior in highschool and I want to know what my experience may be like at University of Michigan. I am thinking about joining a sorority, but I am not sure. Have you gone to Michigan or know people who have gone who liked it? Why did they like it?I got accepted and I am going to University of Michigan next year. any advice, experiences, other insight?
I am a freshman at the University of Michigan. Personally, I do not care for the big college atmosphere. I feel a little lost here to be honest. But, my upper level classmates have told me that it is very hard to adjust in the first semester of freshman year, but that it definitely gets better starting second semester. But there are many advantages that come along with going to such a huge school. There is definitely something for everyone. If you are considering joining a sorority, it seems like they do many activities and party a lot! Almost everyone that I have talked to loves it here. Ann Arbor is a very nice place to live. In regards to the actual classes...PRACTICE GOOD STUDY HABITS NOW!! lol. I was the valedictorian of my class, 4.0 gpa, many extra-curriculars, varsity soccer team captain, volunteer etc. But, none of that compares to the amount of work that I have to do here! I rarely had to study in high school, but studying is a must in college, especially here. Overall, I think this is a good college, and I highly recommend it! Good Luck!

Any advice would be appreciated...?
I am going to quit smoking and I was wondering if y'all could help me out by giving me some tips or advice or personal experience with what helped you or someone you know. Thank you in advance.Any advice would be appreciated...?
I was a smoker for many years (15) and quit about 20 years ago. At the time, smoking was becoming more and more restrictive and unpopular. There are many good approaches lately, and you can check out the American Cancer Society website for some tips. Many people find success with nicorette gum or the patches, and I believe they work best when combined with group therapy. Many will sing praises of having a support group of some type.
For me, it helped to realize that the pangs of desiring a cigarette would go away in 15 minutes, so if I could just hang tight during that time, the craving passed. I found taking short walks or walking up 1 or 2 flights of stairs were great helps. I was embarrassed to realize how out of shape I was, so the stairs were a good reminder. While some warn about avoiding situations in which you previously smoked (e.g., drinking) my worst problem was having the craving sneak up on me at unexpected times. I could gear myself up not to smoke when we would go out for a drink. Be kind to yourself; if you slip up, just start over. It is not the end of the world. You'll find that your sense of smell returns, and that is fun. Do it one day at a time. Treat smoking as you would any loss, going through the steps of grieving. At first you will be angry, because you are in this uncomfortable situation and suffering, and others really don't seem to care. You'll have denial (one cigarette won't hurt, etc.) but eventually you will get over it. It takes some time. I used to dream that I smoked and would wake up depressed that I gave in. It is a powerful addiction, so good luck to you.Any advice would be appreciated...?
I'm a person that can quit at the drop of a dime. You have to have a pack of cigarettes on hand when you're trying to quit, because not having them around make you want one even more, that's all in your mind, so if you have a pack lying around it will help you not crave one as bad. I know that sounds stupid but trust me it works. Remeber you control the cigs they don't control you. You will take one out and smoke it but you'll start smoking less everyday. Knowing you don't have something, that's what make you want it evern more, but when you have it you don't think about as much. Try it and let me know if it helped you...smile...
stay away from things that make you want to smoke. Friends that smoke, drinking, stress (even though that is hard), anything that will trigger it. before you quit make a list of things to do when you want to smoke. like doing sit ups, cleaning something, going for a walk, anything that can take you mind off of it. alot of the addiction is the hand to mouth habit, so buy healthy snacks for those moments. carrots, small suckers, jolly ranchers, crackers, the lists goes on and on. I have quit twice and these things all helped me. good luck and be strong you can do it!!
A friend of mine gave up about 5 years ago and he's always saying to me, ';You just have to give up the first one in the day and so long as you don't have that one you can't have the others.';

I am going to study Broadcast Journalism at East Carolina. Does anyone have any advice?
How long do I need to wait until I start looking for interships? What is are some of the keys of landing your first job after College? Are there any other things I should know?I am going to study Broadcast Journalism at East Carolina. Does anyone have any advice?
Start looking for interships NOW and get as many under your belt as possible. Try to do one a semester. When you find a station you like, maybe you can stick with it for a couple semesters. That way the news director and producers will see how dedicated you are. With any luck, you'll be working part time PAID as a P.A. before the end of your junior year... and maybe even an assignment editor by your senior year! Then your foot will be in the door.
The next step (finding a job after college) really depends on what you want to be (producer, anchor, reporter, etc). Hopefully your school will really help and guide you--but expect difficult times ahead if you want to be talent. My school was brutally honest and that really helped.I am going to study Broadcast Journalism at East Carolina. Does anyone have any advice?
There are a lot of people in broadcast journalism that know the technology -- shooting, audio, and editing. The problem is that all that is getting easier and easier. Soon -- even perhaps now -- the technology will be so easy to learn that it will not command a high salary. It could also become so automated that many of the technical jobs will go away/
They key to long term success in the field is content. What you shoot, writing the script, interviewing subjects, researching, story telling -- all that will be the basis for career advancement.

Any advice/websites on changing to a right diet, exercising to my ideal weight? i'm 45kg but i want to be 40kg
To cook large, round vegetables and fruit like onions and apples, set them on dough nut-shaped rings you make from aluminum foil. (Grilling rings are available at grill shops and online.) Grill the vegetables on the rings until tender on the outside.

Some advice would be lovely...?
I am a high school graduate with talents in various forms of art and writing and am having a great difficulty finding a job that suits. I live in a rural area of South-Eastern Michigan and there's nothing out here for people like me. Does anyone have any pointers that may help get me out of this rut and into a job I enjoy? Some advice would be lovely...?
Some advice would be lovely...?
Just 2 things to get you out of that place and into a job you enjoy...
1. a bus ticket to take you out of that town.
2. an application form for the job that you enjoy.

What are some tips/advice on breaking shyness that does not include alcohol?
Well, first of all, if other people are drinking but you want to keep your cool... it doesn't matter if you drink or not. You can act goofy or outgoing and such and because they are drunk they wont reply with awkwardness.
But the big thing to remember is that no one cares what you are doing really, they are all to busy thinking about themselves and how they are acting and so on and so forth. Everyone is too caught up in their own world. Just remember, the only time people look down on others for making a mistake or doing something awkward is when that person isn't confident about it.
If you do something crazy but act like you dont give a sh** then everyone else will think ';wow, that guy is so confident!';
Its all about bravado, Just force yourself to do something over the top, get a little crazy first and then tone it down to where you want to be.What are some tips/advice on breaking shyness that does not include alcohol?
well, what kind of shy are you?
If you only shy around girls/guys - find the source of your shyness, are you comfortable with what you look like and what you do and who you are?
Remember people are drawn to others who look confident and comfortable with themselves!
Try looking in the mirror and find the best part of you, the part you like the best eg your smile, coz if you like it, others are bound to like it too !
Try starting up a conversation with complete strangers , eg. if your waiting in a queue start up a conversation with the guy behind you, it can be about the most arb thing...just think to yourself - is this person ever going to see you again???What are some tips/advice on breaking shyness that does not include alcohol?
Take up acting.

When do you realize that your advice or insight won't be heard?
when I notice the person making the same mistakes over %26amp; over again...but who am I to tell them??

When do you realize that your advice or insight won't be heard?
When I see that blank stare looking back at me.
I learn not to take for granted the advice i offer to anyone.
Usually in about 30 seconds on Yahoo Answers
its never heard
As soon as i'm giving it to myself.
noticed it about 15 years ago
kinda hurts
but i go on
cause i know im right
I never really know ,so I just keep on going.
Sure wish I knew a way to know.
when someone glares at me
When everyone ignores you as soon as you open your mouth to state it.
Right now
i know that it`s not always heard, but i do this mostly for fun!
right now
When I don't give it.
When I realize I'm talking to a deaf person
literally or sometimes figuratively (aka a hard headed twit)
A vacant look, or perhaps a subtle change of expression. Whenever I see it, I get the message, loud and clear.
When I begin to understand the person I'm giving it to.
when i don't get best answer for the questions i answer seriously.

I am considering entering a debt management program. Anyone have any advice?
I am considering entering a debt management program because I am way over my head in credit card debt. I know it may not be the best solution but it seems I keep putting it off, getting no where paying down my debt. Does anyone have advice or comments?I am considering entering a debt management program. Anyone have any advice?
Debt counseling is the best way to go instead of debt consolidation (which simply means one borrows more to get out of debt).
Here is a link to the FTC approved agencies. Some may charge a small fee and may not (depends upon your situation).
This will give you breathing time to catch up
http://www.usdoj.gov/ust/eo/bapcpa/ccde/鈥?/a>
Govt approved credit counseling agencies.
Good luck and hope this helps.I am considering entering a debt management program. Anyone have any advice?
You may want to approach a bank %26amp; see if you can get a loan to pay off all debts. The interest rate may be better there. In the mean time, cut up all your credit cards. Only buy what you need %26amp; with money you have.
To be honest:
Add up all your short term debt, if it is greater than 1 year's earnings, go broke.
Going broke (bankruptcy) is a big step, but because you will become credit immune for 5 years, you will learn how to PROPERLY handle your money.
As someone who's recovering from debt, I don't recommend credit counseling services.
For one thing, half of them are scams - you pay a fee, and there's no guarantee that your debt, your minimum payment or interest rate would be reduced. You see them advertised at the same times and places as ambulance-chasing lawyers and get-rich-quick schemes - that should tell you something about their credibility.
You are just as well off, if not more so, dealing with the creditor directly. I'm currently making automatic monthly payments out of my checking account with a reduced minimum payment and a significantly lower interest.
Because I dealt with the creditor directly, I don't have to pay a middleman, and my whole monthly payment goes towards my debt, instead of a percentage going to the credit cousnelor. Plus, I don't have to worry about missing a payment because of an administrative screw-up.
Seriously, call the credit company TODAY and get started on your plan. You'd be surprised how much nicer they are to you when you're up front about your situation.
And more importantly, take a look at your spending habits. Cut out every unnecessary item you can, including cable, magazine subscriptions, takeout food - you'd see how quickly even the little things like snacks and coffee add up.
I did this. It is a very good idea. The key is that you have to really understand what put you there. You have to change your habits, it is very easy to get back under.
Make sure you work with a reputable company. They should charge a minimal monthly fee only. They should also have the type of financial counseling that will help you manage your finances and budget. Ok, now two platitudes for you that have been helpful for me: ';It is not how much you save, it is what you don't spend';(I think Suze Orman said this) and *The road to debt is paved with discount* This is to help you to be frugal, and not pseudo frugal.
why pay someone to pay your credit card. sit down and budget. it takes alot of time and boring but it really pays off. i dont like any of these debt programs. its a ripoff. go to www.ripoffreport.com to see if the company u chose is on there and u can see what complaints have been made about the company. microsoft money has a budget program. there are a few others online as well u can download. try going to the community college in your area and see if they offer free debt management classes. also try the library, banks, or community center. where i live my community center offers debt and budgeting classes. some are free and some u have to pay but not much. also even some churchs offer classes. try those before having someone else pay your debt and then in turn u owe them.
Cut your credit cards up in little pieces and don't get another. Call your credit card companies and let them know you are going to transfer your debt to another credit card company for a lower rate. (This is only a threat) They will offer to lower your rate they don't want to lose your business.
Actually, it's a very good decision. Going into such a program will not only help you to reduce and eventually eliminate debt, it can, of itself, raise your credit score. Here's a link to Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS), a non profit service, for your use. http://www.cccsatl.org/
Be careful, most of them are a rip off and charge you hefty fees (which you obviouly can't afford). Try to figure it out on your own or with a friend and do it yourself. It isn't that diffficult.

NAVY SEALS- What was your experience like as a seal? What advice would you give me BEFORE becoming a seal? Also, what advice would you give me AFTER becoming a seal?NAVY SEALS- What was your experience like as a seal? What advice would you give me when I am a seal?
I would questioning anyone answering HERE who claims to be a SEAL. There are many posers. Try an actually USN SEAL site like:

or others

Also, ask a Navy recruiter to hook you up with a SEAL recrutier or someone qualified to talk to. Get the real deal from the right warfighter.NAVY SEALS- What was your experience like as a seal? What advice would you give me when I am a seal?
I was never a Seal, nor did I ever serve.
I do know of an extremely fit twenty three year old who died during Seal training. (Marine boot is also very challenging, if somewhat less so than Seal training, but both can be very hazardous and extremely unpleasant.) Injuries are not uncommon, even in training.
Seals, much like Marines and certain Army units, can expect to be deployed at a moment's notice, generally to areas that are hell on earth.
As an enlisted man, you'll be expected to follow orders without question; if you've any psychiatric or medical problems, you might not make it. Any sort of a family life can be very challenging; remember too that military life is very strict and ordered (as it has to be, especially in times of war).
But by all accounts, you'll also receive training that will prepare you for literally anything you encounter, in either military or civillian life. You'll certainly have adventures, and you'll be part of a very small, very valuable community.
But if you've the opportunity to finish college first, you might want to look into an ROTC program or OCS schooling - military officers, in general, have it better than the grunts, and the only real difference is a few years of school.
rough. about a 16wk basic training. if is a great thing to go into though, if up for the channgle go fo ritestee lauder stop pimples

correct ur spellings first
Without trying to be a smarta**, you should make sure that spelling words correctly is at the top of your list.
But eliminating mindless activities (like watching too much TV), studying a lot, hanging out with friends who value good grades (and study habits) and making sure to bear down with your homework, notes and test taking should get you there.
Good luck!
first of all learn proper english and spelling.
Pay attention to your teachers and do your homework.
If you have questions ask the teacher.
you can get good grades by listening very carefully and study hard for tests
Hey
I'm at an independent school, so gettin good grades is pretty much compulsory. I don't know why so many ppl r givin u whack 4 ur spellin - this is the internet ffs! neway, tips:
-if u like music, music GCSE is a gr8 subject 2 take cuz its pretty damn easy, specially if u ave a good teachr
-decide b4 if ur an arts person or a sciences person, then take:
For arts: Modern Languages/Classics (Latin%26amp;Greek%26amp;Class. Civ.)/Art/Music/RE/History/Anything related
For Sciences: Chem/Phy/Bio/ICT/Geog/Anything related
-I kno it'll b difficult, but u gotta have a lotta willpower, and cut down on stuff like the TV, computer games, texting, etc., as well as going out, etc.
-****Buy CGP Revision Guides**** I'm not advertising, but htese book reeli r gr8, so...mite wanna invest in dem....
-make sure ur notes r neat nd organised afta each lesson nd typin em up on2 the comp reeli helps to memorise stuff (if u got da time)
-listen 2 ur teacher's advice - if they say u shud take Foundation papers(even tho ur aimin 4 A*s), then its a good idea 2 listen 2 dem - a frend of mine didnt listen, took the higher papers and got Ds, meanin he failed those subjects
-i kno it sounds stupid, but try ta b enthusiastic bout classes - its tru dat if yo teacher likes u then theyll give u less stick and betta grades on coursework nd stuff
-see if u can start gettin music lessons - if theyre 2 xpensive then teach yoself somthin simple, e.g. guitar/ukelele/harmonica - theyll reeli help wen ur bored
-make flashcards wid facts on one side and questions on the otha - then c if u can rememba the answer....
-and finally, WORK HARD! U aint gonna get A*s by sittin on ur bum all day, u gotta get up and do it!!
1-what's gcse?
2-stop spelling like that. rli is spelled really. no really.
3-nothing is impossible. it doesn't matter if you're not rich. believe in yourself. study hard. go for it. change your world, man.
well first of alll your spelling is horrible (no offense sorry) get a dictionary read things like a page or 3 a day, then when u type use spell check. If you find out about a test start studying for it thant day not last minute. Yake notes during class and study a little each day. If you have a project start working on it a head of time you'll get a better grade. Ask your teacher for extra credit, ask you teachers or a smart classmate, for tutoring. Hope I helped :) please pick me for best answer!!!! :)
To get good grades is all about concentration, skill, and commitment. Being a student myself, I find that you need to value somethings over others. Instead of going to a party you may want to do some extra studying on a Saturday night, or maybe have less activities and hobbies and focus more on school work. It all depends on how much you want it, and how much you are willing to sacrifice to get it. Like my brother who only thinks about friends and going out partying, is a bad idea. I am not saying that yo should only do school work, but you should find a balance between being social and doing school work. After all, your friends are not the ones that are going to pay your rent when you get older, it's you.
STUDY hard. There is no other easy way. Good luck.
start with spelling... yours need a lot of work...
work moreI wana be an A* Student! advice!?
correct ur spellings first
Without trying to be a smarta**, you should make sure that spelling words correctly is at the top of your list.

My teenage sons girlfriend has PMS and is treating him bad. Any advice for him?
They have only been together for a couple of weeks and everything has been good until today. She is moody, uncommunicative and he is really stressed out about the situation. I told him he can't take it so hard and not to worry, but he has little experience with this and could use some helpful advice. My teenage sons girlfriend has PMS and is treating him bad. Any advice for him?
Im sure if he's a teenager he knows about periods already. I would just tell him that she is on ';her time of the month'; and to just be a little bit more carfull on his choise of words, what he does, ect. Girls have it hard when they're piriod comes, just tell him what you would want a guy to say and do to you when your on your period.
Hope this helps a little.
God bless.
:)My teenage sons girlfriend has PMS and is treating him bad. Any advice for him?
I agree with anni, just tell him how things work. No need to get into details, just tell him why she's acting how she is, that she still cares for him, and that it'll pass. Tell him to go into mental coma mode when she's around and has P.M.S. THATS HOW I SURVIVE HELL WEEK. lol only kidding but ya, tell him how it is. Also, if it isn't PMS and she continues to treat him badly, tell him to stand up for himself and kick her to the curb.
just tell him to give her space and she will apperciate it. its a hard time for me and my boyfriend is always understanding and never gets angry if i lash out against him. my advice its the hormones she cant help it!if she treated you like this all the time than i would be worried, but if not don't worry....its only a couple of days!thank goodness :)
He could use some distraction. Find a teen novel/book on the same problem? Make him do his homework? I defy anyone to be thinking about a girl friend if they are struggling with a math problem set.
Make sure to put in a calendar. If the relationship makes it past this bump it will be interesting if it really is PMS.
Well you are the best one to give it to him. You can relate to her right? Tell him how you felt when you were that age and what it did to your personality.
Tell him to give her space.
If she starts bitching, tell him just to let her yell.
Like you said he doesn't have to worry about anything.
Just let time pass and everything will go back to normal.
PMS is evil to us women. It's natural for us to get moody during this time.
As far as being uncommunicative, that's a totally different story.
be sure to tell him what is going on with her and not to worry about her and that if he can't take that every month then don't be by her when she has PMS.
just tell him ';she has PMS, she'll be fine in a day or two';
it's not that she doesnt like him anymore, its just hormones :]
PMS doesn't last long and doesn't come with the same moods month for month usually. So he should just avoid her while she's PMSing.
Ok if he is stressing over it then tell him just to stay away from her until it passes!
leave her alone it just means shes growing up . shell get over it in a few days . try telling your son to avoid her for a wile
Have him check into '; Ralph's PMS Shelter for Men';...after all a week is a terrible thing to waste...LOL !
Tell him to comfort her.
slap her
PMS is all in your head
tell him to be nice and steer clear when she's angry

My ball sack is cold damp and smells bad, anyone have some advice about this?
Its really annoying and rather uncomfortable... does anyone have some sort of solution to this. Its not a joke even though the topic is rather sensitive. My ball sack is cold damp and smells bad, anyone have some advice about this?
Talcum powder, or Gold Bond. It'll keep it dry, and that's the key to the odor issue - bacteria/fungi grow in dark, damp places.
Your ball sack will always be a bit cooler than the rest of your body because sperm require a slightly lower body temperature. That's normal. My ball sack is cold damp and smells bad, anyone have some advice about this?
if the skin is unbroken, a good wash with a mild antiseptic followed by over the counter anti-fungal cream.
and keep it clean dude.
I would like to say a warm bath, but I guess you already tried that. Sounds like jock itch maybe???? Try the over the counter anti-fungals.

What is your #1 piece of advice on being as efficient as possible with your time at work?
One: Plan it out- write out all your tasks and allot an estimated time to them. And work without cheating on the tasks. Coffee breaks are fine as long as you're on the schedule you set for yourself. Two: Prioritize your tasks such that you are not scrambling for tomorrow's deadline because you were working on something due a month away. Three: Follow up. Knowing how much time you take for a task will help you recognize your own speed and time yourself for the next tasks. What is your #1 piece of advice on being as efficient as possible with your time at work?
0pen a window on the computer only for solitaire...open another for your favorite chat room....another to search through your favorite dating personals...another for porn or sports...and another with some work on it to click on when your boss or a nosy co-worker comes by.
Always look perplexed like you are thinking hard about your work...then people will less likely come by with their inane small talk.
No matter how much the job sucks always say 'I'm fine and I love it here'; when asked.
Buy time for personal daydreaming by standing by the fax machine awaiting the imaginary fax...or fiddling with the copier to fix the imaginary paper jam.
Remember efficiency only raises your expectations and they will usually use you for as much as they can for as little in return as possible. What is your #1 piece of advice on being as efficient as possible with your time at work?
Find a job that will keep you busy (in a good way) with work that you enjoy doing. If your place of employment brings you great joy then you will continue to be efficient. On the other hand if you are doing a job just for the pay, chances are you will not find pleasure at carrying out duties and will procrastinate regardless.
As Ghandi once said, ';what you do is insignificant, yet it is very important that you do it.';

Why is it that I always seem able to give out good or ok advice to others ..?
but when it comes to myself %26amp; dealing with problems at home i dont always do what i would advise someone else to do?
I have 4children aged 11, 9, 5 %26amp; 2 by the way!Why is it that I always seem able to give out good or ok advice to others ..?
I think that is something that is true of most people. When someone asks you for advice you can be objective because you are not personally involved in the situation. When we try to deal with our own problems we find emotions getting in the way of sane and rational decisions.
Don't worry about it, more people than would admit to it will have the same problem. Just make sure you have a good range of family and friends to fall back on for support (and not forgetting us here at answers, of course). Why is it that I always seem able to give out good or ok advice to others ..?
you are not alone I do the same, but it feels good to advise other people as it takes our own problems away at the time.mum of 2.
when it is your own troubles you are too close to the situation to see it objectively. about 99% of us are that way. it is always easier to see someone elses problemn from all angles.
lol, I do the same. I don't always practice what i advise
Blimey, you have got your hands full! Well, I guess we are all good at giving advice to others but when it comes to us, it all goes out the window. I am like this with my health - If someone is worried, I say, don't think the worst, you will be fine, it's probably just this or just that etc. The minute I get the slightest twinge or cold I honestly think I am dying or have some incurable disease - I often get to the stage of acceptance of the worst in my mind - only to find I am better again!. Shouldn't you be tucked up by now - you must be one busy girl with 4 children! lol.x
From side you can see better... My friend is always analysed my situations and giving me priceless angle of view. That's the secret I suspect. By the way, 4 kids and probably you are trying to keep all of them happy and it may drag your mind in 4 different ways... I have that with my 3 kids and complete disaster to deal with my problems. Most of the times I just posting my questions in here and get a very good advise
i do that all the time then ask myself why i cant take my own advice
With four children to look after I take my hat off to you because it cant be easy.
Maybe you are tired if it was me I might look after them in the morning, but in the afternoon i would be in my bed asleep.
4 children? thats not really that many, my aunt has 6 kids, aged at 14,12,9,4,2,%26amp; 6months.
and yea i help her and i go thought the same thing
helps others but cant help myself.
you answered your own question!!! you have children and with them comes a different dimension!!!!!!!!
IT IS ALWAYS EASIER TO SEE THE ANSWER WHEN YOU CAN STAND BACK AND REALY LOOK AT THE PROBLEM BUT WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR OWN FAMILY THAT IS WHEN IT IS HARDER.BECAUSE OF YOUR CLOSER ENVOLVEMENT. BUT YOU ARE NOT ON YOUR OWN IN THAT AS ALL PARENT GO THROUGH IT AT SOME TIME OR OTHER I KNOW THAT I DID AND LIKE YOU I HAD 4CHILDREN TO RAISE IT IS NOT EASY BEING A MOTHER OR FATHER FOR THAT MATTER

Any advice would be appreciated?
Ive been dating this girl for week, and shes ready to go all the way. I want to take it easy, how do I get her to give me he-ad? without sounding stupid?Any advice would be appreciated?
If you even have to ask...Any advice would be appreciated?
You've already asked this twice, which is against the rules, and I already told that you don't degrade anyone in that fashion.
Since she wants to go all the way. Talk more about sex and then you will both know what will please the other one. Tell her what you'd like to have done to you. And ask her what she wants to have done to her.
U';re bad boy.... all u can think of is that????
Go down on her first.
There is no way that YOU can avoid sounding stupid.
men dont ask go for it just let it play along dont ask you will sound despearte just take it.
Just ask, if she cannot understand then she's the wrong one man.
Start looking again, it's too soon!!!
How selfish can you be? You want to take it easy, but its o.k for her to go down on you. If shes ready to go all the way she obviously needs satisfying too.
Take it as it comes. Sometimes it is your destiny and you later repent on kicking it. It seldom strikes twice at your door.
It sounds that you think ';head'; is not going 'all the way'.
Who are you, Bill Clinton or something ?
just ask her if shes ready to go all the way she'll do it

Why are we not following the advice of our founding fathers?
Over and over the founding fathers advised us to stay out of the afairs of other countries and yet from the turn of the 20th century to today the United States has involved its self in dozens of petty disputes from the Philippines to Iraq. Why?Why are we not following the advice of our founding fathers?
I have been advocating this for quite some time now.
If another nation wants our help, they can sign a contract stating the terms of the help and then pay us first. Why are we not following the advice of our founding fathers?
That wisdom applied to those times. In those days America was a fragile, fledgling nation. We were not the powerhouse we are today. We became more involved with other countries on account of the world becoming more connected, and this has lead to more conflicts.
How would our founding fathers change their opinions if they had the internet and atom bombs to deal with?
Military-industrial theocracy
The people at the controls right now are ideologues, and if they have their way we will end up with some kind of unholy alliance of big business and Christian conservatism.
... truth hurts huh
What do you think they'd say about entitlement spending?
In 200 years we have become the most powerful country in the history of the world.
That adds a little responsibility to our foreign policy.
We are not following the advice of 200 years ago because we can't and still survive. 225 years ago it took any communication from 3 to 8 weeks to cross an ocean. Now it is instantaneous.
As long as we conduct business with these countries on an instantaneous basis, we naturally will try to influence in our best interest. Call it hegemony, call it international business relations, call it self-interest. The result is the same. We are not the only country forced to act this way. We do have the most economic influence however.
For every bad international decision done in the name of U.S. interests, there are 100 good ones you don't hear about mainly because the BungleBush was not involved.
Impeach the BungleBush.
Well lets see, the founding fathers lived in a era over 200 years ago. Things change.
They sort of are destroyed by their own success. They built such a powerful country that, in the end, subverted their own values.
To be generous, it is not that all uncommon.
I have always thought that the American Revolution was a mistake. Canada, Australia, New Zeland, etc... are relatively peaceful countries that harm few people. They outlawed slavery earlier, have parliamentary systems that reflect the opinions of real minorities in government, and have more equitable distributions of wealth and income, have more equitable systems of health, education and welfare.
Their advice was for building a nation - now the govt is destroying it.
Involvement in other parts of the world would seem to be the least of our concerns today.
America is controlled by big businesses that control the media. The founders never foresaw mass media being able to persuade the masses that fantasy is fact and that fact is fiction. Heck, television can convince people that the laws of physics don't work. Some Americans still believe that JFK was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald. Anyway, these big business investors know that there's big money in weapons, oil and loans. So, first they put their own men in gov't (both the Republican and Democratic parties are controlled) by financing their campaigns, and smearing any who oppose them. Then they sponsor media campaigns to villify third world countries in order to get public support for military action. They get rich on our taxes, and increase the size of gov't (their biggest client and partner) at the same time. If we used our awesome power to help the world instead of killing it, our wealthy elite ';masters'; wouldn't make as many gains, which is their sole obsession. The founders never meant for the gov't to be this big and powerful. It has become a machine for increasing the wealth of a select few individuals. This isn't the America they thought they had designed.
This Administration would wiretap them, put them on the terrorist list, and label them as Anti American for being against the War in Iraq.
This was good advice 200 years ago when most of the colonial European powers had the capability, if not the will, to kick our butt!
today, think of what the world would be like if we didn't use our God-given power to help things out a bit.
Anyone wish to speak German or Japanese or Russian in GreenBay or Kansas City?

I think i might be pregnant. i need advice!?
i've had unprotected sex last month and this month. i've been peeing alot, really hungry, boobs are extremely sore, stomach cramping, and my period was due today. but its really light and its really light pink instead of red. my stomach and back hurt but not as bad as it usually does when i'm on my period. could i be pregnant?I think i might be pregnant. i need advice!?
I really wish people wouldn't post these questions.
Only a PREGNANCY TEST or a DOCTOR can tell you this, we can't see into your body and tell you if you're pregnant.
BUT, by the way you describe it, i'd say that yes, you are.
Thats exactly what my symptoms were.I think i might be pregnant. i need advice!?
Do a pregnancey test in a week to be sure! and you could be due on and that would explain the cramps and for the light pink errrm does it hurt or anything when you pee? still im in same situation apart from i havent come on and im due on today aswell give a week if you havent come on do a test and then wait for he outcome and deal with it then thats what i intend on doing
Just dont worry yourself or this can delay your period even more!
You definitely could be. When I was only 4 weeks pregnant my breasts were sore and enlarged, and I felt sick when eating but I didn't have pain in my stomach. You should take a home pregnancy test because if you are pregnant, and are having bleeding, you'll need to talk to a doctor right away.
Guess what? TAKE A TEST! do you really think you can get the answer on this site? If you are getting your period there is a chance that you wont be...but the only way to find out is to bite the bullet and take a test. Good luck.
it is highly possible. unprotected sex is never a good idea unless you are planning on becoming pregnant. my gf had the same symptoms when she became pregnant. i would wait till your period is over and then take a test.
yes. just make sure you have more sex and only have sex with one guy. oh and a tip: if your boobs are sore, make your guy massage them for you. it feelsz good.
possibly,
your body might just be reacting to the sex.
but you could very well be pregnant,
take a test,
and check to see if your period gets heavy and darker..
You have all the symptoms of pregnancy. It looks like you're pregnant. But you still should make a test to make sure yourself.
You could be. Wait about a week then talk to your mom. Your period could be really late, but your probably pregnant.
I think you might be getting your period here pretty soon.. you get those same exact symptoms when youre period is about to start.. but if you are unsure take a pregnancy test..
From what your saying, it sounds like you could be. Don't jump to any conclusions just yet though. Go get a pregnancy test A.S.A.P!
Those sound like pregnancy symptoms to me, congratulations!
Maybe or maybe not. Take a test a-sap. Or go to the doctor to have blood work done.
most likey you are, but you have to check to see if you are or not.
just take a test it will show if you are...congrats!! :]
